A specific Purpose of the North American Ellipsometry Association (NAEA) is to recognize excellence in science and technology through the presentation of Awards, and to promote student participation.
The following Awards have been established for the International Conference on Spectroscopic Ellipsometry (ICSE) and the American Workshop on Ellipsometry (AWE) series, respectively:
- Hans Mueller Memorial Award & Lecture (ICSE)
- Paul Drude Award (ICSE)
- Innovation and Creativity Award (ICSE)
- Student Awards (ICSE & AWE)
In addition, deserving Members who have made sustained and outstanding technical contributions in areas of interest to the Association may be recognized as NAEA Fellows.
